Why use Breeder Genetics?
Breeder Genetics allows stud stock producers to gain a foothold within the genetic market place. Unlike other semen companies who chose the bulls to enter the market place, Breeder Genetics provides a platform for breeders to promote bulls of their choice.
Breeders retain ownership of their bulls, whilst still receiving a significant amount of revenue from semen sales. Breeders will receive at a minimum of 30% and up to 45% of generated revenue.
How it works
Seedstock producers pay a nominal membership fee and are then entitled to enter two bulls, plus one bull that is a pre-auction entry. Semen is collected at the expense of Breeder Genetics on-farm at a mutually convenient time.
The Breeder Genetics website allows members to showcase their bulls, programs, sales and events. All bulls will go through a full marketing program (conducted by Breeder Genetics) to reach their full potential.
Pre-Auction Entry
Sale bulls can also be nominated for entry into the program (pre-auction entries). The revenue stream is transferred to the successful purchaser (includes any semen sales made before the auction), creating an investment opportunity for your clients.

Membership
$250 + GST

Single Bull Entry
$1,250 + GST per bull
ONE-TIME FEE
Members can submit up to two bulls per year.
Pre-Auction Bull Entry
$1,100 + GST per bull
ONE-TIME FEE
Members can submit one pre-auction bull per year.
Bull entry fees are one-time fees to enter your bulls with Breeder Genetics, where they will be listed and marketed for usually at least two years. Bulls are reviewed after two years, and then annually. View full terms & conditions here.
Breeder Genetics covers the cost of semen collection, storage and marketing, while you as the breeder will receive 30-45% of the sales revenue and 50 free straws in each of your bulls, plus 5% discount on all semen through Breeder Genetics.
